The maximum number of simultaneous users is the primary criteria for determining the resources required for hosting The Education Edge. One way to calculate this number, start with the total number of users your organization is licensed for. Next, decide how many users are power users and how many are infrequent users. Take the number of infrequent users and divide by three and add it to the number of power users.
For example, an organization may have a 25 user license for The Education Edge. Of these, there are 15 power users and 10 infrequent users. Take 10 and divide by 3 giving us 3. We add 3 to our 15 power users giving us 18. Therefore, we should plan on 18 simultaneous users.
