We have expanded our operations and by adding a second datacenter in Vancouver, BC. Vancouver servse as a cost-effective disaster recovery solution for applications hosted in Seattle.
To facilitate disaster recovery, we will be implementing Site Recovery Manager from VMware, an Enterprise disaster recovery product that provides the following features:
· Seamlessly integration with existing VSphere infrastructure.
· Automated replication of applications and data to Vancouver.
· Automated recovery based upon client RTO (Recovery Time Objective).
· Quarterly, non-disruptive testing of complete recovery.
